Visit Muskegon invites you to join our inaugural winter contest; filled with outdoor adventure, amusement, art…and prizes!
West Michigan is a four season destination, and one of Muskegon County’s most adventurous seasons is is winter. When the snow blankets our trails, frost kisses our beaches, and the whoosh of the luge breaks the winter quiet – you will find Muskegon to be “Snow Much Fun”!
Throughout the months of January and February, Visit Muskegon invites you to discover what winter wonders await you and your family.
Download our “Snow Much Fun Outdoor Discovery Tour” map filled with winter activities, adventures and scenic snowy stops. Check-in with a photo on Facebook and the hashtag #SnowMuchFunInMuskegon. Not only will you have “snow much fun” while you explore Muskegon County, but you will also be entered to win great prizes! Weekly giveaways include gift cards, gift baskets, tours and swag!

❄ Maps are available to download at visitmuskegon.org. Or, pick one up at the Visitors Center located at The Muskegon Union Depot in Downtown Muskegon: 610 W. Western Ave. Please check our hours and safety requirements here. Maps can also be found in our outdoor pick-up box.
❄ Follow the map for locations and suggestions for snow-filled fun. Share these adventures on Facebook to be entered to win prizes! The more check-ins and photos, the more entries!
❄ Contest entries will be gathered by these public Facebook check-ins. (Be sure your post is “public”. If we can’t see them, we can’t count them). Participants must also use the hashtag #SnowMuchFunInMuskegon to be entered to win prizes (this is how we will search for your entries)
Instructions to Enter
Snap a photo of one of the designated stops or suggested activities listed on the map
Share the photo on Facebook with the hashtag #SnowMuchFunInMuskegon
Make sure the setting is “public” so we can find your post.
The more stops and activities you share, the more entries you receive
Send one Facebook message to Visit Muskegon; simply say “Snow Much Fun” (this way we can contact you if you are a winner!)
Entries will be collected and numbered in a Visit Muskegon photo album
Every Friday between Jan 8 – Feb 26, 2021 Visit Muskegon will use Random.org to choose a number from the album of collected photos (the more photos you share, the more chances you have to win!)
Once a photo is selected as a winner it may not qualify for further prizes. However, the same entrant may win with a different photo(s)
If a prize is not claimed within 5 days, it will be added to the next week’s drawing

Grab your snowboard, ice skates, sled, tubes, snowshoes or cross country skies and Visit Muskegon for snow covered fun! Frosted dunes dot 26 miles of Lake Michigan Shoreline. Over 60 miles of trails await you to discover their winter tranquility. Snow covered hills will ring with the peel of laughter. Snap and share a photo of yourself, your family or your friend enjoying a winter activity at the Muskegon Luge Adventure Sports Park. Or, one of our Snow Much Fun Parks!
