Muskegon Sports: Lumberjacks, Clippers & More Local Teams
Introducing Sports Muskegon, serving Muskegon and the surrounding areas.
Our slice of Lake Michigan shoreline offers visitors the chance to experience year-round recreation and entertainment options. Enjoy over 26 miles of sugar sand beaches along Lake Michigan during the spring and summer months or take advantage of miles and miles of hiking and mountain biking trails. Cheer on our beach soccer and volleyball teams on our nationally certified clean beach, Pere Marquette Beach. Try paddleboarding or sailing on Muskegon Lake. Or relax and float down Muskegon River by kayak or canoe. During the fall and winter months try the thrill of the luge at Muskegon Luge Adventure Sports Park, one of only four luges in the United States. Muskegon County also offers cross country skiing and snow shoeing trails, as well as plenty of ice fishing and even ice boating.
