Muskegon County 2020 Festivals and Signature Events
In a “normal” year, Muskegon County boasts many festivals, fairs and signature events that proclaim our love of art, music, food, craft beer, wine and culture.
There are festivals for every taste and age. All music genres are covered; tents and stages fill with classical, Celtic, Christian, jazz and rock. Summers end in a celebration of our rich ethnic diversity via the Latino, Polish and Irish Festivals. We raise glasses of craft beer and wine – sometimes with bare feet in beach sand, sometimes surrounded by art and sometimes surrounded by trees and friends in a park setting.
In an effort to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus, many festivals, live performances and events have been canceled, rescheduled, or modified.
How can we support these signature events that make Muskegon such a festive place to visit?
- Visit their Facebook pages and leave a message of support
- Check their websites for merchandise that can be purchased
- Find out who their generous sponsors are (generally listed on the organizer website) and let those sponsors know how much the festival or event means to you, your family and your community
- If you have purchased a ticket for a postponed or canceled event; rather than requesting a refund consider a credit to use at a later time, or donating the purchase price back to the organizer
