"Looking for a fun, adult-only weekend getaway? Consider Muskegon!
🏖️ This beach destination has 26 miles of shoreline along Lake Michigan and about a three-hour drive from Chicago and Detroit.
☀️ The lakefront location certainly makes Muskegon a summertime favorite for family vacations, but live entertainment and fantastic craft beverage spots are reasons to plan an adult-only getaway.
🍸 In @downtownmuskegon , you can sip craft cocktails, like the mango-licious Tiny Riot with a chili-lime rim, and split a wood-fired pizza at @18thamendmentspirits.
🍕 From a menu featuring pizzas for meat lovers and vegans alike, the Boomtown pizza recently caught my eye. It was delicious with a rich white sauce and topped with roasted wild mushrooms and caramelized onions.
🍺 Now, if you prefer craft beer over cocktails, that is not a problem in downtown Muskegon! Just head over to @unrulybrewing for the seasonal Orange Julius Belgian wheat beer and live music.
🎵 While you are in downtown Muskegon's social district, you can even take your adult beverages for a stroll outside. You might catch a live band on weekends!
🏨 Just a few blocks away, the waterfront @shorelineinnmuskegon offers marina views, indoor and seasonal outdoor pools, two full-service restaurants and bars, and a 24-hour fitness center.
