One of our favorite things about summer is relaxation. Whether its reading a book by the beach, hitting a few balls at the driving range or strike some poses on the beach, Muskegon has the resources to make us all unwind.
Today’s Muskegon Travel Tip Tuesday is for those of us who enjoy exercising the mind, body and soul through yoga. As many places do, Muskegon has many options for learning the art and practice of yoga. Muskegon, however takes it to another level, incorporating our natural resources and even some of our well know attractions!
First, we’d like to give you a quick run down of some of our popular yoga studios in the area:
Rootdown Yoga- Rootdown Yoga is in the heart of downtown Muskegon. This studio offers beginners classes, flow yoga, heated flow yoga as well as a Yin class. Rootdown also has a juice bar featuring fresh juice, smoothies and salads.
Muskegon Yoga Center- Muskegon Yoga Center offers beginners classes, slow flow, Yin, Vinyasa, heated Vinyasa and Ashtanga yoga classes.
Yeshi Yoga- Yeshi Yoga is also known as “Holy Yoga”. Yeshi yoga pairs religion with yoga practice.

Pigeon Hill and Fetch Brewery both offer Poses and Pints with Muskegon Yoga throughout the year. Relax and unwind with an instructor lead yoga class then enjoy a tasty beer from one of these two breweries!
Another awesome event is Yoga on board the LST 333 with Rootdown Yoga. Take in the fresh air and scenery of Muskegon Lake and Downtown Muskegon while you practice yoga on one of two surviving Landing Ship Tanks from WWII!
