Blockhouse, The

The Muskegon Blockhouse is a full size replica of Fort Dearborn, originally built by the Works Progress Administration in 1934. It was destroyed by arsonists in 1962 and rebuilt. Visitors to the Blockhouse can enjoy scenic views of Muskegon State Park and Lake Michigan from the highest point in Muskegon County.
