The Greater Muskegon Jaycees Annual Snowfest will return to Downtown Muskegon Saturday, February 19, 2022. The downtown winter festival features a jam-packed Saturday including popular events such as the “Battle of the Bowls Chili Cook-Off”, and a Cornhole Tournament!
The Muskegon Jaycees Snowfest Committee is hard at work planning this exciting event to ensure #Snowfest2022 has something for everyone!
The Cornhole Tournament will run on Western Avenue between 4th and 5th streets. Registration begins at 9:00am, with the tournament kicking off at 10:00am. Trophies and cash prizes will be given to 1st and 2nd place teams. Pre-event registration is requested. Cost to play is $40 per cornhole team of 2. Those wanting to compete in the popular tournament should register early! Rad Dad’s will be open early at 9:00 a.m. for Bloody Marys and Waffles!
The Battle of the Bowls Soup and Chili Cook-off will take place from 10am to 2pm on Saturday, February 19th on the Concourse of the Mercy Health Arena in Downtown Muskegon. Area restaurants will go head to head to see who has the area’s best soup and chili. Samples will be given in 4oz samples. Presale tickets for the Battle of the Bowls are $10 for 10 tastings. Tickets at the door are $15 for 10 tastings. Come out and cast your vote for your favorite!
