Sketching the Soul of a Tree
$31.50 for ACWL-Nuveen members
Trees are long lived, and respond to their environment. They are beautiful structures, but may seem intimidating to draw. In this workshop we will look at the wonderful and unique structure of a tree and let go of our assumptions. Learn techniques for creating form and depth, and to add interest and texture. See how limiting your focus can create a better drawing. Create several sketches and a finished drawing that capture the spirit of a tree. Suitable for all levels, you should be comfortable with the idea of trying your hand at drawing.
