A New “Roll” for the Muskegon Pride Center
You are invited to Roll On with Muskegon Pride. The Muskegon Pride Center and Roll On Muskegon are hosting a Community Bike Ride on Thursday June 25th starting at 7 pm from the Muskegon Farmers Market at 242 W. Western Avenue.
The Muskegon Pride Center is excited to be partnering with Roll On Muskegon, who will lend their experience to the evening to ensure that everyone has a great ride, for a community-centered biking event. Along with the ride being completely user-friendly, riders be making a pit-stop halfway through the bike ride at the McLaughlin Grows Urban Farm to enjoy some light refreshments and check out all of the neat things they have going on! David Ramos of Ramos & Sons Auto Body is providing the usage of the “people mover”, currently used for downtown events and at the Muskegon Farmers Market, to allow those with mobility issues to participate in the event. If you are interested in reserving a spot please contact City Commissioner Michael Ramsey at firstname.lastname@example.org, space is limited. Neighbors that live along the route are invited to take to their porches to cheer on riders and to be a part of the event.
Muskegon Pride is partnering with Commissioner Ramsey and selling Muskegon Pride Center logo’ed gear. All net proceeds will be utilized by the Muskegon Pride Center to expand Community Outreach and Education Services. Visit the site at shop.spreadshirt.com/michaelformuskegon.
The Muskegon Pride Center was established to promote tolerance and acceptance throughout the community and provide a safe, non-judgmental network of support and resources for LGBT+ individuals who share a common vision of social equality.
