Sunday, October 22 at 6:00pm, come to Kitchen 242 at the Muskegon Farmers’ Market for “Poultry Cookery with Chef Damon!” Buying a whole chicken not only makes more sense financially, but it also allows a more delicious way to buy chicken and the opportunity to make the most of the whole bird. Students will learn the structure and composition of poultry, how to store poultry properly, the appropriate cooking methods and different types and cuts of poultry while applying various cooking methods.
