Muskegon Heritage Museum Opens for the Season

The Muskegon Heritage Museum will open for the season Thursday, May 9!  This museum is dedicated to preserving the economic, industrial and social history of the greater Muskegon area! With over 12,000 feet of display space, it spans three floors and features informational exhibits, artifacts and photos pertaining to Muskegon’s industries, historic homes and businesses.  They have a working steam engine with a line shaft that runs 11 machine tools, as well as a working Brunswick pinsetter, a spring winding machine, and over 80 other companies represented in exhibits.

Hours are 11:00am to 4:00pm, Thursday – Saturday through mid-October and by appointment all year.  Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for students.  Children under 6, active duty military and MHA members are free. Special group and school tour rates may apply. For more information call 231-722-1363 or visit the website below.
