Happy St Paddy’s Day at Unruly!
Unruly Brewing opens the doors to the tasting room at 11:00 am on March 17th. At Noon the first round of March madness plays on multiple TVs. At 5:30 the “Irish DJ” takes musical requests and at 7 pm the “stylistically unique World Folk” group Whorled Band hits the stage.
Whorled’s acoustic sound is fresh and innovative and draws from roots from around the world. Their main interest is Celtic music which they combine with world folk to rebrand Irish music into what they call “Irish Reimagined.” The three piece band features violin, accordion, guitar, banjo, and occasionally a didgeridoo. Whorled is a relatively young band in the area having formed in 2019 but has quickly developed a buzz for their musicianship, unique sound, and moments of improvisation so that no two Whorled performances are the same.
