

Hackley Distinguished Lecture
The 2022 Charles H. Hackley Distinguished Lecture will be presented by Dr. Keith A. Crandall on Thursday, May 26, at 7:30 p.m. The event will take place at the Muskegon Museum of Art with a reception to follow at Hackley Public Library. His presentation, ‘Genomics and the Microbiome’, will explore the concepts of how our DNA impacts our susceptibility to disease and the efficacy of treatment as well as the impact of our ‘microbiome’ on our health.
Commendation awards will be presented to Martha Ferriby, former Director of Hackley Public Library, and Carol Ann Balcom, long-time and integral member of Friends and past President.
