The January Series cultivates deep thought and conversations about important issues of the day in order to inspire cultural renewal and make us better global citizens in this world.

We invite you to join us in the Beardsley Theater at the Frauenthal Center as a remote location for this FREE 15-day lecture series. The series takes place each January on the campus of Calvin University weekdays January 10-28, 2022 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. EST.

“Why Travel Makes Us Better Global Citizens”

Rick Steves is a popular public television host, best-selling guidebook author, and outspoken activist who encourages people to broaden their perspectives through travel. For over 40 years he has been traveling, researching, and teaching and will share his experiences as he talks about being better global citizens.
