Art Exhibit: Mary Jo Roys Drueke
“Always, my intention is to take in for myself the thing that touches me in a scene, a photograph, on someone’s face, or the thing that reaches into my heart and makes me feel something. Feelings? A wide array of feelings will do. Sometimes it’s the soothing quality of water at rest reflecting the world around it. Sometimes it’s the heartache revealed on someone’s face. Sometimes it’s the joy of a dog racing in the open stretches of a field, or sometimes it’s the simple beauty and open undefended being of a flower. The paintings in this exhibit are in pastel. Please join me by viewing the things that move me.”
This exhibit is at the Reception Gallery in the Frauenthal Center, located on the 2nd floor of the Hilt Building. Gallery hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm.
This exhibit runs from April 1 – June 1.
