“The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls.” – Pablo Picasso
Following a few weeks of self-isolation, Michigan residents have mitigated the monotony by immersing themselves in assorted forms of the arts.
“Film festivals” streamed into family rooms, unshelving forgotten books, consuming livestream concerts, exploring museums via virtual tours, picking up paintbrushes and pens to master (or perhaps revive) an artistic talent .
All in all, the arts and humanities have soothed our spirits during the solitude of social distancing and staying home.
In light of this,Visit Muskegon would like to share some of our local art and entertainment venues, museums and attractions. Many are which are providing virtual entertainment by staying connected via social media. All of which are waiting to unlock their doors, or gates, and welcome you with open arms.
