Normal tour hours are 10:00am to 4:00pm Seven Days a week from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
Other times are available by appointment.

The USS LST 393 is also available for private parties, special events, and fundraiser's.

One of the few remaining LST's (Landing Ship Tank) in the country, LST 393 is currently undergoing an extensive renovation so that her history and those who served aboard this gallant ship may be preserved and shared with generations to come. USS LST 393 was commissioned on December 11, 1942. She participated in three invasions in the Atlantic and Mediterranean and made 75 voyages to foreign shores. She carried more than 9,000 personnel along with 3,200 vehicles.

The LST 393 won 3 Battle Stars and was awarded Service Medals. The LST 393 is an important vessel and a memorial to the men who sacrificed so much in defense of our country.

The LST 393 is open for tours May through September, seven days a week, 10 am to 4 pm.  The USS LST 393 is also available for private parties, special events, and fundraiser's. For more information regarding these events and admission prices, please call the ship's office at (231) 722-6932.

Directions:
The LST 393 is located on the shoreline of Muskegon Lake in downtown Muskegon. It is next to the Mart Dock and across the street from the Muskegon Convention and Visitors Bureau.

From the south:
From U.S. 31 heading north, take the U.S. 31 Business Route exit just north of the I-96 junction. U.S. 31 Business Route (Seaway Drive) should be followed until Shoreline Drive splits off to the left just after Southern. Proceed north on Shoreline Drive past the second stoplight. Turn left on Mart Street, (just after 6th St .) The LST 393 is on the left off Shoreline Drive, across the street from the Muskegon Convention and Visitors Bureau.

From the southeast:
Travel to the end of I-96 past the US-31 junction (DO NOT take the US-31 exit). I-96 will become U.S. Business Route 31 (Seaway Drive). U.S. 31 Business Route (Seaway Drive) should be followed until Shoreline Drive splits off to the left just after Southern. Proceed north on Shoreline Drive past the second stoplight. Turn left on Mart Street, (just after 6th St). The LST 393 is on the left off Shoreline Drive, across from the Muskegon Convention and Visitors Bureau.

From the north:
From U.S. 31 heading south, take the U.S. 31 Business Route exit towards downtown Muskegon. Take the Shoreline Drive exit. Turn right on Mart Street, ( just after 5th St). The LST 393 is on the right side, off Shoreline Drive, next to the Mart Dock and across from the Muskegon Convention and Visitors Bureau.

From the east:
From M46 heading west, turn left onto U.S. 31 Business Route (Webster Avenue) towards downtown Muskegon. Take the Shoreline Drive exit. Turn right on Mart Street, ( just after 5th St) . The LST 393 is on the right side, off Shoreline Drive, next to the Mart Dock and across from the Muskegon Convention and Visitors Bureau.
