Beaches & Parks
Muskegon County has several beautiful beaches with public access to Lake Michigan. Plan on enjoying a day at one of Muskegon's beaches this summer or at one of the many beach towns along the coast of Lake Michigan! Following are some water safety guidelines posted on the Muskegon County Health Department's website, which will help everyone to have a fun and safe day at the beach.
Muskegon County has 3 state parks, 8 county parks, and the city's Pere Marquette beach is a nationally certified clean beach. Enjoy over 26 miles of Lake Michigan coastline in our area.
